AI product consulting for travel companies
Turn your travel AI idea into a working product in weeks.
I'm Hari, a technical product leader with 12 years in product and engineering, most of them in travel and aviation tech. I scope the problem with you like a product lead, then build and ship it myself. It's for tour operators, DMCs and travel-tech teams with an AI idea that has been sitting on the roadmap for months.
Hiring for a product role? I'm also open to contract and fractional work.
Illustrative example
Most travel companies are trying AI. Very few have shipped it.
The gap is rarely the AI model. It's picking a problem that moves a business number, connecting it to your own data and systems, and keeping it reliable once real customers depend on it.
- Scoped against a number you care about: time per quote, conversion, revenue per booking.
- Built on your data and the systems you already use, not a generic demo.
- Kept running after launch, including when AI providers retire the models you depend on.

Starting point for tour operators and DMCs
Quote Copilot: inquiry in, costed proposal draft out.
Custom trip requests eat your team's day. Someone builds the itinerary, prices it against contracted rates in a spreadsheet, writes it up, then revises it. And the client often books with whoever replies first.
An inquiry arrives
By email or web form, in whatever words the client uses.
AI drafts the itinerary
Built from your own products, partner hotels and suppliers, not the open internet.
Costing from your rates
Contracted rates, seasons and your margin rules, straight from the sheets you already keep.
Your expert reviews and sends
A branded proposal in your tone of voice. Nothing goes out without a person approving it.
Start with one week. Go further only if it works.
Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before any work starts.
AI Product Sprint
We pick one problem. I build a working prototype on your real data, and you get a build plan with a fixed quote. If it doesn't show value, you stop there.
- Kick-off workshop with your team
- Working prototype on your data
- Measured result, e.g. time per quote
- Build plan and fixed quote
Build and launch
I turn the prototype into a production feature or app your team and customers can rely on.
- Integration with your systems and data
- Quality checks on every AI output
- Security and GDPR basics built in
- Launch, handover and team training
Care and evolve
AI models get retired and APIs change. I keep it running and keep improving it with your team.
- Monitoring and fixes
- Model upgrades when providers retire old ones
- Monthly improvements from real usage
- A product partner on call
Other travel problems worth solving with AI
Bookable by AI assistants
More travelers plan with AI assistants. I connect your inventory through the Model Context Protocol (MCP) so they can find and book you there.
A trip planner for your customers
An AI planner built only from your own products, based on what I built and run for the Wanderverse.ai app.
Upsell and ancillary revenue
The right add-on at the right moment, during booking or before the trip. This is what I did for airlines at AERQ and Safran.
Back-office automation
Supplier emails, booking confirmations and travel documents: the repetitive admin that eats your team's week.
A product I built and still run
Wanderverse.ai
I designed, built and shipped a generative-AI travel app on my own. It's live on the App Store and Google Play and turns a few preferences into a day-by-day itinerary.
Since launch I've also run it in production, including moving it to new AI models when the provider retired the old ones.

The same person from first call to launch
I scope the problem and build the solution myself, so nothing gets lost between people.
Fixed scope, fixed price
You know what you get and what it costs before we start. Changes are priced openly.
Your data, your code
You own what I build. GDPR-conscious by default, and happy to sign an NDA and a DPA.

Hi, I'm Hari.
I started as a mobile engineer, moved into product at a startup in Paris, and spent most of my career as a technical product manager on in-flight entertainment and connected-aircraft platforms at PaxLife, Safran Passenger Innovations and AERQ, an LG × Lufthansa venture. A lot of that work was about making money from the passenger experience: in-flight shopping, app marketplaces and ancillary revenue.
In 2025 I founded Wanderverse.ai and built an AI trip planner end to end. Alongside building it, I help other travel companies get their own AI ideas out of the slide deck and into production.
Questions teams usually ask
Do you only work with travel companies?
Mostly. Travel and aviation is where my experience makes the biggest difference. I'm happy to talk about adjacent work in hospitality, mobility or consumer apps.
What do you need from us for the sprint?
One person who owns the problem and can give a few hours across the week, sample data (for quoting, around ten past requests and your rate sheet), and read access to any system we need to connect to.
Can it work with our booking or reservation system?
Usually, if the system has an API or can export data. I've already integrated travel booking APIs such as Viator and Tiqets, so this is familiar ground. We check your system during the sprint, before you commit to a build.
Which AI models do you use?
Whatever fits the problem, chosen for output quality, cost and data protection. I design things so the model can be swapped, because providers retire models more often than most teams expect.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. The work is delivered into your own repository and cloud account, and your data stays yours.
Do you sign NDAs and data processing agreements?
Yes, both. I'm based in Germany and work with GDPR in mind from the first call.
Want to talk through an AI idea for your business?
Pick a time that suits you. The first call is free and takes 30 minutes. You'll get an honest view on whether it's worth building.
