These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Wanderverse.ai mobile application and website (together, the "Service"), operated by Wanderverse.ai UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("Wanderverse.ai", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. The Service

Wanderverse.ai provides AI-assisted travel planning tools, including itinerary generation, packing lists, weather-aware suggestions, group trip planning, activity recommendations, and export and sharing features. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be offered as previews or "coming soon" and may change before general release.

3. AI-generated content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate itineraries, suggestions, packing lists, and related content. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying important information — including opening hours, prices, travel requirements, visa and entry rules, health and safety advisories, and bookings — before relying on it. Wanderverse.ai does not guarantee the accuracy, suitability, or availability of any AI-generated suggestion.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure;
• Circumvent security or access controls, including App Check or authentication;
• Upload content that is illegal, infringing, offensive, or violates others' rights;
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to train competing models;
• Misuse AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the trip details and content you create ("Your Content"). You grant Wanderverse.ai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and use Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including sending relevant inputs to our AI providers to generate results. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, "Wanderverse.ai" and "WanderLens", logos, and all related intellectual property, is owned by Wanderverse.ai UG or its licensors and is protected by law. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

7. Third-party services & bookings

The Service integrates third-party services and may show activities, tickets, or tours from partners such as Viator and Tiqets. Any purchase or booking you make through a partner is a contract between you and that partner, governed by their terms and privacy policies. We may earn affiliate commissions on such bookings. We are not responsible for third-party products, services, content, or conduct.

8. Fees

The core app is currently offered free of charge. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future; any applicable fees, billing terms, and cancellation rights will be disclosed before you incur a charge. Where purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store's terms and refund policies also apply.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI output will be accurate. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wanderverse.ai and its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or EUR 100. This limitation does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected. Where permitted, disputes shall be subject to the courts having jurisdiction at our registered seat.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
